“Adios, America: The Left’s Plan to Turn Our Country into a Third World Hellhole” by Ann Coulter –

“Americans ought to be suspicious about being incessantly told fences “don’t work.” It’s like being told wheels don’t work. The media maniacally repeat this nonsense, hoping to lull people into thinking, Maybe it is impossible to control the borders. The New York Times explains, for example: “Would-be migrants still find ways over, under, through and around them.”14 Wheels still find ways to bend, break, or spring leaks. China built a thirteen-thousand-mile wall several centuries before Christ, and it’s still working.”

Didn’t she previously criticize Obama for being the “turner a rounder in chief”?!? Implying that she herself doesn’t feel particularly impressed by the border crossings we already have. Because if she believed fences work, she’d be praising the fences we have and projecting the benefits of adding more.

A bigger fence won’t work. What fences we already have are constantly undermined by people wanting to cross the border. Unless there are people watching every inch at every moment, anyone who wants to can cut wire, climb it, or even blow the sucker up. And only a moron would think that Mexico will pay for a wall.

By the way, what is up with all the border patrol stations within the US?!? Add the obscenely short walls in the public rest areas and this East Coaster thought she needed a passport to visit Texas and Arizona! Actually, my husband was nervous that we might get stopped; he wouldn’t let me take up close pictures of the stations.

When it comes to walls keeping out the real enemies, I’ll end with two words: El Chapo.
